Wasn't seeing a lot of CSS type vehicles out there so I decided to try and build a Bison Ambulance which I am hoping to put in a time line type Diorama.

The kits used are a CA-07 Canadian "Early Bison" conversion set by AEF Designs which consisted of the upper hull, which is to be married up to an Italeri UMSC LAV/Mortar lower hull. This was recommend by AFE as this is the only kit that allows the top hatch to be employed. Mind you there are some differences in the USMC LAV and the Canadian Bison. One is the fact that the Jerry cans on the LAV/Mortar use the standard JC Holders where the Cdn is more of a basket holder. I had to scratch this in and it was the first time I ever had to do this. It was a lot of trial and error before I ended up with what I have however, you will notice a bit of extra glue build up and I am not sure how I can smooth this out. Really don't want to pick away at it because I might destroy the scratch build. I have ordered some extra PE parts for the stowage from Real Model and I understand that they may be producing an insert for the
Coyote which might be used in this situation. The only reason I say that is because I am hoping to have the ramp down for more effect. Besides what is an ambulance if you can't show off the insides. Other than that it is just another AFV.

If anyone out there has any ideas that can help me in this build I would greatly appreciate them.

Also looking for some picture of bisons with that lived in look. When I was on tour I was stationed in KAF and never got out to the FOB's so I would love to get some pics on this nature
