Hello Canadian Experts! I am in need of your help and expertise.
I am looking for information about the LAV III, i.e. photos and such of the vehicle. I know Trumpeter is going to come out with one but I don't know how long it will take and with the company's history would rather use Real Model's conversion set for the AFV M1126.
I saw the feature from Bill Cross but I'm not sure what else is out there as far as LAV III's.
Lastly, do these come with Mine Plates? I would think they would attach them now, but not typically sure since I haven't seen photos.
Thanks everyone!
Sean

Thank you very much! The real question is when will it be ready? Could I be the first to review it
Mockrát děkuji! Skutečnou otázkou je, kdy bude hotov? Mohl bych být první recenzi to?

Are you looking for other types/variants of LAV III's?
There are Engineer variant LAVs as well as the newer LORITs which are essentially upgraded LAV IIIs. There are also the TUA variants, although I don't think they have been sent to Afghanistan.
What other info do you need? Having built three of the Realmodel LAV kits they are fantastic in my opinion. If you have patience with PE they are no problem.

I've been working with Voyager's M1128 Detail set and I feel that if I can finish that, which I am almost done with I can do pretty much anything. The LORIT was exactly what I was looking for. I just watched the video on that link and can't wait to complete it. Do you think you could message me with a link to your builds?

I acutally saw these yesterday when browsing around. Great pictures. When the conversion set is released I'll be using these photos as reference. Would you happen to have any more?

I'm actually going to purchase that one when i get the LORIT as it becomes available. I was thinking of doing an interior as well but I will need better pictures as I know tfor example the seats are mounted to the roof of the vehicle on the LORIT model.

I have a few more photos and CAD drawings. They were supplied to RM to assist with the production of the LORIT conversion / upgrade.
Now that the vehicle is in AFG, I'm sure we will start to see images on Combat Camera to see how the troops are utilizing the stowage bins and to get a better idea of what the operational vehicle look like.
