Looks like you are off to a flying start, and very cleanly built.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Built these, almost strait from the box, just to relax a little. I have about 20 other kits being built, all with PE, resin, you know the deal.

Looking forward to progress pics. I'm trying to get going on the Pershing myself, for a GB on another forum. It's one of my favorite builds.
Did you do your own mantlet cover? Looks good.

Yes, did the mantlet with tissue and white glue. Came out pretty good. used plastic, lead solder and lead foil for the mantlet cover bracket. The resin is all Trakz, tried to get their mantlet cover but no one has them in stock. Trying to detail out all the inside of the hatches right now. The driver and co-driver hatches are the hardest, not to many pics of the insides of them.

Well, the Matilda will be in the darker two-tone brown color. Trying to get away from what everyone else seems to be doing. The Pershing, just a dirty old olive green color. I have a full crew and lots of stowage for it. Going to rip the rubber up on the road wheels and maybe bend a fender or two.
