Great news Pat !!
It's nice to see a new kit of such an important tank.
The Mk. IV was diesel powered, hopefully MiniArt will do some of the other versions.
Cheers

I'm guessing that based on the CAD drawings that this is a new tool kit and not a repop of the VM/DML etc Valentine?

They didn't re-pop the awful Su-76 -- why should we be concerned that they would re-pop the Valentine?

This is good news. I've built the old VM kits, and I've got the Bishop in the stash. With the figures included this will be very welcome.

I would think more varients are on the way as the British tank riders figure set that has been announced are based on a photo riding a Valentine.Hopefully their next release as I am waiting for the figures.

I'm not giving anything away here, but expect to see an entire series of Valentine variants in the next year or so... I was told about this last february, so, a prize to me for discretion...

Well I have the VM kit and all the extras to turn it into a proper model, so that guarantees that this is an accurate new release!
This is excellent news!

...well done Jim you are the prince of discretion, now...any idea on the release date for that long-listed YA12 and the possibility of a MiniArt T26 1939. Lets hope there are many discreet treats at Nurnberg next month. Please keep us as informed as possible.

Nice to see a Valentine being released, but interesting that they would release a Red Army vehicle before a British model - I would have thought the British model would sell better. Pity about the decision to include that particular figure set. It's an early set, which is particularly (sorry to say) awful.

I agree about this set of figures, but then again you don't buy the kit for the figures. I took a look at the website and this set is now out of production so perhaps better is on the way which may be included at a later date.

Hey Rich,

WOW! SPLENDID NEWS!
A bumper crop of British AFVs last year, and I see it continuing through this year too! Given their tooling of the Dingo, I'm sold on the Valentine - will definitely get at least one for myself!
We have been blessed with the Newly tooled Matilda (of course with all its minor irks), a Churchill, and now.... VALENTINE! Would they be releasing it on 14th of Feb???

This is absolutely great news! Of course what to do now with the DML kit with AM barrel...
With all these new allied releases I think I'm gonna have to get rid of some more German stuff that I bought years ago just to have something to build (but then obviously didn't...)
Cheers
Stef

I have to say the arrangement between Bronco and Miniart has been a good one. This is a most welcome release and I look forward to the other variantswhether they be Miniart or Bronco

That puzzled me as well Rudi. Still, this does bode well - especially in view of Jim's comments.
This is a tank that's been too neglected by manufacturers in the past, so nice to see a new injection kit of it.

Interesting I would have thought that Red Army vehicles have more of a following than British Army and Commonwealth subject, - they even have their own own forum on Armorama
Plus remember that Miniart are based in the Ukraine so natural enough for them to depict a soviet vehicle especially as those who don't want to wait for the specific British vehicles will buy this anyway and buy the British Valentines when they come out
Here's an idea for someone from the IWM Collections Online which has lots of Valentine pics
