And the releases from Miniart just keep on coming. Yet another dio accessory, this time a set of metal stairs in 1:35 scale.

Interesting, and could be useful.
But I wonder how easy it would be to modify this -- different heights, angles, etc. Otherwise it might be a little too specific to be terribly useful.

Indeed, after the steel latern post this looks o be another item destinated to an industrial complex. I am also wondering about the boxart, as the door is looking to open to the exterior! I don't want to stand there when someone just gets out then.
The stair looks really great, no doubt about that.

Fair play MiniArt. The line of accessories is just getting better and better. CanŽt believe this stuff has not been released earlier. This is another set IŽll be picking up. Thanks for the news Pat.
The door looks like one of their standard doors attached directly to the wall on the background piece. If their standard door frame was included, this door can be modelled to swing both ways.

I like it, although I'd probably replace the plastic stair treads and platform with some nice photo etched diamond plate, or even an open weave mesh.

I doubt you can change the angle
The stringers appear to be in the middle of a tread so trimming the height shouldn't be difficult

That seems fairly accurate, similar to modern fire escapes. I think the reasoning is that if there is an emergency and someone needs to leave the building in a hurry, all the doors open outwards so that they don't have to stop to pull them open.

I think with a bit of work you could use multiple sets to run a staircase right up the side of a tall building.
