Hello guys, this is my frist post in the Russian/soviet forum!!!
Finally I finished my KVII for Tamiya. I was in a hurry finishing this monster for Nuremberg Toy fair and not time for emails or forums. :-(
Well, I painted the winter camo very faded, more than usual, because I wanted to work with different techniques, like fading with oils and hairspray. I am happy with the result but any critic or comment is always welcome.
I have seen many photos with the mudguards covered by earth, leaves, and all kind of vegetable stuff. The result I think that is realistic.
Thanks for watching:

Hi there Mig,
That's a fantastic finish you have achieved there. Realistic to the extreme and most pleasing to the eye. It is great to see you posting more of your work here and long may it continue. Tamiya are lucky to have you on board. Thank you so much for sharing and all the very best of luck to you in all your endeavours!
Cheers, Jim.

A very nice build Mig. The only fault I can see is the rings around the barrel which I have been told where not visable.

Very well done! It must have been a huge project - especially with those large areas to paint. How's the T-55 doing?

Regarding the barrel rings, I'm pretty sure i've have seen at least one image where they WERE visible (in every other, they aren't ). On a purely aesthetic level, I like them....
