Was wondering if anyone has the new Trumpeter MAZ-537 (last production). What are the differences between this and the others, besides the obvious lack of the trailer?

The most recent MAZ-537 series kit from Trumpeter (#1005) is the KZKT-537L variant which is a heavy duty tractor, often used to tow aircraft :
It's fitted with a small cargo bed used to carry cast-iron ballast (up to 16t) to improve traction when towing heavy loads.

OOOPS My bad ! I should have asked about the kit you had in mind. I must have missed this one
Another difference is that the fuel tanks casing has been removed on last model MAZs (to make access to the filler caps easier) :

Thanks for all the help!
So it seems like this late production release is actually a simplified version of the previous trumpeter releases?

Hi,
Two things I have noticed from the above pix :
- The late and (some of) the last type seem to have no winch housing at all
- The "last type" Trumpeter kit seems to have a diferent rubber tyre design that looks better than the ones I had in the intermediat type kit I built.
