This is my 1st "from the sprue up" kit in ages & I wanted to get some input. It's also my 1st official posting for constructive feedback. This is the PAK40 from the Dragon PAK40 with Heer crew (crew to come later). It's a really nice little kit & once you get a feel for Dragons instructions went together pretty smoothly. I was really impressed with the detail of the gun. Thanks for any and all input.

I need to work on my photography skills for these kinds of pics. They didn't come out great, but close enough for goverment work.

Hi Sean,
Nice job!, well put together and painted. To give it that little extra try putting a few chips and scratches round the moving parts, breech etc and where the crew come in contact with the gun.
Ive got Dragons PAK40 with Fallschirmjaeger in the stash and they sure look good built-up!
Thanks for sharing

Where the armor folds down in front, where the shovel fits, it seems like maybe that line could use a wash or something to bring contrast and make it look more like 2 pieces.

I was going to give it a wash, but I spent a lot of time practicing my drybrush weathering & was worried the wash would bury the drybrushing (lesson learned there. wash 1st, drybrush 2nd). so the wash got deleted from the process.
Paul,
I plan on doing a full base with it. A Normandy Dio, I've got the Dragon Puma kit I'll be adding to it along with the figs. It'll be quite the work in progress.
Thanks for the replies so far.

Hi, I like the project, to my taste maybe add some chipping.

Looks good. I agree a bit of chipping and a wash could improve it even further, but be careful not to overdo it.

Nice job But would the breech be in unpainted metal?

That's a very good question. Any answers on that one?
