This is one of my project in progress, it has ben fun building it. It took me about 3-4 hours to completly prepare it for painting.

I have some problems until now, 1st paint removed, some scratchbuild becouse some parts were not molded completly, some were overdimensioned, etc.

I've played with some color modulation, and some paint chiping with salt.

The kit contained aprox. 30 parts in white plastic which was quite hard.

Here are some pictures:

And this is the idea of what will look at on the end. Cannon, left along in the WWI without one wheel, with American passing by in the WWII Era.

Nice work so far.
Makes me want to look around for the one I started about 5 years ago.

Looks good so far! Nice little gun!
As I saw some minutes on ebay, RPM also has a Schneider-gun with options for both world-wars.

Thanks for C&C.

As far as I know they were used in WWII by the Germas who little modernize this cannon. They have give him diferent tires, remove extra "brakes" for older tires, and some other minor changes.

But I think it would look someway odd but intresting to see cannon from WWI in WWII ambient.

Well I hope so that this trying to get chipped paint wouldn't be a disaster and that I'll be happy and satisfied at the end.

Best regards.

Stjepan.

P.S. Sorry on bad english.

Yes, it would be interesting to see 2 or 3 guns and its differences from 2 seperate wars.
Hmm, as I remember correct, the germans had some more older guns and weapons, which were modernisized or replaced by follow on products.

I had the idea to display an "s.Fh18 15cm howitzer" in its different stages of development.
But there are only 2 different wheel / wheel-patterns of the three (or more) available.
Also another interesting point would be the changing camo/ color for their use.

greetings...
