Hi folks,
I've been working on finishing this project over the last three or four weeks, but I think I'm finally done with it.
I must admit that I could have done some more tweaking here and there, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with the way this little "tuna can" turned out.
The base kit is Trumpy's standart LAV25, refined with some scratch built parts, like the commander's sight, the PLATT mount (based on trumpy part with dragon M240, hobbyfan buttstock, eduard PE ammo and a scratched ammo box), wire cutters and some other stuff.
the stowage is part hobbyfan, part verlinden, part tamiya and part homemade.
The model was painted using tamiya acrylics, and weathered using oils and Mig pigments. More Pictures and Information on this build can be found here: http://armorama.com/forums/151812#1270752
So without any further chitchat here are the pics:
Hope you'll like it, leave a comment!
-> note the wooden Box
Cheers Max

I like the dusty look, makes the NATO camo looks well weathered and faded. Which kit did the m420 come from, and you mentioned a PLATT mount, did you scratch build it?

Paul, thanks for the kind words!
Calvin,
the M240 comes from Dragon's "Modern U.S. Marines" set, but it's also included in their Modern weapons set.
The entire construction is set up like this:
Cheers Max
