Trumpeter released their workable track for various vehicle including the T-62 some time back. But I have not seen feedback or comment on these track at all...
Anyone out there tried it already and what's the verdict?

Haven't seen it yet (or even heard of it). ModelKasten is pretty hard to beat though...

They are junk. When they first came out the brand was called Armour Track Models. They were made to fit the old Trumpeter T54/55 kits. Here is a good comparison of T55/62 tracks.

I think there is some confusion here...I am not refering to the old ones.
Trumpeter recently announced they are coming with new tooled workable track according to their website.
http://www.trumpeter-china.com/war513/products/en_list.asp?classid=14&Nclassid=40
PMMS also listed in the new kit section...
http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/newkitnews/trumpeter.htm
At one time, I saw Hobbyeasy listing on their website...

Just wonder if anyone have a go at them yet...

There is no confusion they are the old Armour Track sets as reviewed in the threads above but with one difference. They no longer include the Resin Sprockets which makes them questionable in use. I cannot personnally vouch for the T62 set but I bought the Chaffeee WW2 Steel tracks and have to say I was very dissapointed in the absence of the Drive Sprockets as from memory the originals did not fit the Italeri Sprockets at all. They are double the price of the Bronco workable sets here so I would exercise caution with these.

Al, Tony,
Thanks for the clarification and input.
I guess I will give these tracks a miss ....
But it is really strange to me that trumpeter would market something that does not fit onto any existing kit without the resin sprockets...Mmm....
Mike.

Personally i prefer Mk or Masterclub track....the ones with the pin!...fiddly to build but worth the effort. Friuls dont fit around the sprockets on the Model 62 kit properly.. I agree the Armour track/Trumpeter track sets are awful....

yes....although these are the later Rmsh track. I know AFV Modeller stocks Masterclub now but this set is not listed?. Not sure what number the track set is for the Omsh type.

Hi
I receive the new sets for T-55 from trumpeter and THEM ARE NEW TOOLS!!!!! they dont fit the old trumpeter kits their size is of 16.6mm, seems to be modelkasten clones but really cheap , I recomend to BUY THEM.
And again sorry but they are not the same, THEY ARE NEW!!!!!!

I just caught Raul's posting on the Trumpeter track sets; good info. I would love to see some pictures. I bought some of the ATM sets when they first came out and was, like others, dissapointed. I was curious when Isaw them listed in the new line-up on PMMS if they would be the old sets re-poped. Good to know they are indeed new tooled.

Jamal,
You could either on the T-62, I ve seen early models with Rmsh track as well.

Raul, with your feedback, you just reset the entire discussion on this topic....
Did you have any further feedback on the fitting and the quality of these track..
Also, if you have any photo you can share that show the track mounted onto the vehicle, that will be great !!!

If I may add my 2 cents - I would recommend the WWII resin workable tracks. They have virtually no clean up and simply click together with ease. I was a little skeptical when I first saw them, but after putting a set together I love them. And you don't end up with a link end that you have to add a bolt head to like the Friul sets.

I think the Friul tracks come with metal sprockets. If they will fit the Trump T62, this I would like to know.
