Guys
I built this one out of the box it was easy to build and wasnt expensive
and went together easy enough
I found photos of a captured one on a parade in Israel ive still a crew to do for it I painted it in humbrol 103 light cream and dry brushed it with humbrol 72 matt khaki drill it was as close as i could get it to the colour photos
the photo didnt show any markings on it so i handpainted the Israeli flags on it .Its and interesting shape of a tank.
Id like to build another one and do it as a green russian version.
regards Andrew

Looks good, Andrew.
Very nicely finished. The hand-painted Israeli flags are a nice touch and look to be very well done.

Looks good, I like the way drybrushing picks out the details. However, it seems a bit too monotonous for my taste, i.e. it would help to pick out details such as the headlight glass. Also the tracks could use a little bit more weathering.

Considering the model was done from a photo of a parade vehicle, and was run in the desert before capture (probably) I'm OK with the amount of weathering, with possibly the exception of a little more abrasion of the paint. From what I understand, Egyptian sand paint wasn't of especially good quality.
Are the tracks one-piece? The look rather well-detailed. Overall, very nice.

guys thanks for your comments
i think your right a bit more dust dirt on the tracks would help
they do look a bit too clean
a few scrapes on the paint would help too
I had thought of putting a 50 cal on it to make it look like a tank being used in action sort of like a t55 105 tiran 5
ive always wondered why the Israelis never used them in action like they did with the t55 and just used the js3 as static half buried pill boxes
thanks for your comments
