Hello,
I remember from this topic that HB may issue a 1/35 Czech 152 howitzer DANA VZ77.
Do you have any idea of the release date ? Is it scheduled for 2010 ?
Thanks in advance,
Richard

can't help you,
but if you feel tempted, don't buy the Panzershop resin kit, it's not worth the price at all

Hello Gaoyue,how about 1/35 2S-6 Tunguska or 9k22 tunguska ? ? ? thank you.
The 2S6M Tunguska is my favourite one: so perhaps I would buy 2 or more in 1/35.
The only maker is a resin-kit made by Jadar-model (5Star).
The other company is Skif, but since 2001(!) they didn´t released it.
Also a 2S19 MSTA-S would be nice, ICM "announced" a 1/35 kit also in 2001.
greetings...

Sorry for that! You´re right.
Perhaps we should make a wish-list of different eras and different countries for "makeable" kits.
They are very good covered with drawings and images.

ofcourse
the casting is not all that great. Especially round objects such as cilinders are not really cilindrical due to the fact the mould has shifted. Even the large square parts have this problem. Detailing could be better too, there is not much on it. Shapes have been simplified, such as the brackets of the cilinders beneath the gun tube. The wheels consist of two half donuts which do not allign all that great. The two turret halves go on a base plate. the plate was on some places 3 mm thick, in the middle only 1 mm. The edges did not allign with the bottom parts of the turret parts. Making the engine bay parts fit is, let's say a "challenge" All the tool boxes are slightly different in size. They come without a mould plug. They were cast with an open mould. This means you have to level out all the bottoms by sanding. And whatever you do, you always sand off more of the edges than the middle, even if you use figure 8 movements
The PE is nice, but that is made by Eduard.
I have seen these vehicles for real in CZ and especially the gun components and the shell ejector belt system on the back lack finer detail.
I have build many resin kits (because I don't care much for panzers and Shermans). When compared to other manufacturers, the quality is less than average. If you take the price into conisderation, the score drops even further.
You can make a nice model of it, but be prepared for a lot of work. Panzershops quality is not very consistent. Their czech T72 conversion is a joke (a bad one), their VT-72B is very nice. Their P40 longtrack is kind of okay. The RM70 is nice, except for all the warped missiles.
hope this helps,
Matthijs

Let me put my money were my mouth is. If you are all laughing about the "grass", is was a miserable attempt to recreate a picture of a Dana I once saw. Looks like my 3 yr old niece made it hahahahaha Like most of my diorama attempts, it ended in the rubbish bin (it spit it back out )
the tarp hanging on the side is miliput and replaced the resin blob that came with kit. The surveing sticks were replaced by Evergreen. The brush guards before the front fenders were not mentioned in the kit.
I stop complaining now, it's a Dutch thing I guess.

That's surprising, I thought Panzershop had a good rep, but I see it might be hype. It's unfortunate as I had considered purchasing some of their kits. Thank you for pointing out their quality-control problems.

Hi,
If the 1/35 VZ-77 DANA from Trumpeter/Hobby Boss matches their usual detail kit standards, I will be (among) the first french customer(s) to get one or more !
Now I only wish I could know when this long awaited injected kit will be available.
Regards,
Richard
