Well since i am waiting for my new office to set my airbrush and paint some of my Models, I thought I would work on another one and get as far as priming it.
It is the Italeri 978 Fuel Tanker OOB

Nevermind my last comment. Looking really nice. Have you decided how you plan on painting it?

I was thinking desert sand cab and pump housing, and 3 tone fuel tank, or maybe 3 tone for everything but the cab. Not really sure though, noth sure if that would ever happen in the field....

Looks good and a big kit so know it is large.
How about all sand I pass by two from the first Gulf war painted that way?
At least they are here in OK.

Looks pretty good. Either of your paint ideas will look good. I would recommend replacing the wheels with an AM set though. The kit ones are horrible and not accurate at all.

I know Gino, I have some resin ones somewhere here, but I couldn't seem to find them. I looked all over to no avail. I do know I have two M977's that I can use the wheels on once I finally do find them. I might still break down and get some better ones for this. I still have a little filling to do as some of the pictures might show, but overall was not a bad build at all. Alot easier that I thought it would be, except for sanding the tank to get rid of the seems. WHAT A PAIN that was.
