Hey there......anyone interested in some up close pics of modern Canadian Armor?
We are haveing an Armed Forces day here on Monday.....and was wondering if anyone was looking for some up close pics of some of our stuff.....don't know how "close" I will be able to get.....for example inside shots of say a leapard...as they usually don't let you climb aboard them....but the 113s or the Lavs, or the 109s and such...are usually opened up for everyone.
Let me know!!

Would love to see some good pics of both inside and outside of our vehicles! I can't find many decent outer pictures with markings or anything. If you could get some this would be great. Really would like some leopard C1 pics.
Cheers

I would appreciate any interior shots of an 113 fitters vehicle. By the way, I was by there on Friday. What happened to the Centurian Brdgelayer that used to be parked by the main gate?

I really need a digital camera. I was at the show today but cut it a little short because of the rain. There was a good number of vehicles there (sorry no M113 fitter(ARVL)). The Centurian bridgelayer has beeen moved out by the museum for now while they re-do the entrances at the main gate. They are builoding separate entrances for the Canex and theatre to reduce traffic at the main gate. Too bad I couldn't have seen you Scott, could have gotten you up close and personal with the Leopard. Oh and who was that idiot with the Dr. Seusse hat and the peacenik attitude anyway? I need some of whatever he's using!!!

Sorry guys......didn't make it out.....was just heading out to it...and the rain started coming down!!! Seems like thats all it has been doing on the weekends here. And didn't want to stand out in the rain for something I have seen many times over.
Well the next show is in Halifax at the Nova Scotia International Airshow.....Land Forces Atlantic usually has a boat load of vehicles there every year. As well as usually a pretty good airshow.....last year we had flybys of a B-1B and the Red Arrows....probably the highlight of the show....well that and the CF-18 attacking the runway!! LOL This year there is supposed to be a B-52 invited....but nothing confirmed, would be an awesome shot for pics!!!
