Really nice diorama but...I think German would rather destroy their AFVs then surrender and giving them to Alied troops. Wouldn't they?

JagdTigers... sorry for the typo. I'm currently working on kits of both vehicles, so I blame that.

Hi Bart. Great job on the Jagdtiger ... as well as the diorama. The composition is first class and captures the scene beautifully.

Great Diorama Bart! It really catches the feel of that particular surrender from the photos/video I've seen.

Bart, one of my fav dio makers! You should submit your other ones, especially the Russians pinned down in the trench by a halftrack.

Bart,

I just wanted to say that you did a beautiful job on this diorama. I remember seeing pictures in one of the squadron signal panzer colors books of them big cats surrendering. I have always had this idea in the back of my head and wasn’t sure how to pull it off with available figures of the time. You captured the scene beautifully and did a heck of a job!!!

Very, very well done. I'm especially impressed with the evocative poses you have the US Army soldiers display, from the Camera man, the commanding officer with walki-talki, to the soldiers leaning against the building.

It was worth bringing this one back up front for more praise as it's so well done.

I'm glad it was brought back up, excellent job. Building, base, vehicles and all of the people.
Sorry I missed it the first time.

WOW... that is an excellent diorama. I especially like the expressions on the faces of that tank crew.
They don't look too happy and even the body language reflects
that....EXCELLENT!

Excellent build, painting and layout!

Just for historical purpose, X2 had taken a round, which did
not penetrate, on the glacis plates between the barrel support and the front driver's side shackle mount....this was evident when she was surrendered. She was also covered with very many branches.

Cheers,
Joe

Keith

Congratulations - that is one very good diorama. If I might make one small point, I think you will find that the hull MGs had been dismounted - in fact, the YouTube shows one of them being removed by a crew member, but your model seems to have it still mounted.

Regards

Rob
