Does anyone know if the Kangaroo would have used the 3-bar cleat tracks like the rest of UK armor did? I'd like to replace the thick plain pad tracks that come with the kit.

Rob, the only pics I've seen of them, they were using the "steel chevron" tracks, type T54E1. BUT, you know as well as I, that there were always exceptions.

Rob:

I'd say go for it. They used them on the M7 Priest, why not the Kangaroo based on the same vehicle?

I don't have photo refs handy now (cuz I'm at work), but I'll bet there's a pic out there somewhere. I seriously doubt anyone "calling you" on using three-bar cleat tracks on any British Sherman variant -- they put 'em on everything.

Yeah, I'd say you were pretty safe as well...I have many pictures fromthe M-L site where they went over tracks on allied vehicles...they have different types on each side, some backward and forward, both sides on backward...etc.

so feel safe doing it, those Italeri tracks are garbage in my mind.
