I've heard that some LAV III TUA are being stripped of their turrets. What happens to them after that?
I'd be willing to split the cost of this item for sale on ML and I just want the turret:
LAV III TUA 'Tow-Under-Armor'(#1558) $25.00

This thread will help clarify the LAV III TUA conversion issue. After reading the thread you will see at the current time there are not really any turrets just sitting around.

I thought the core turret was the same with addition of the armored sight cover and the sensor thing on the back.

The book is very good...I am working on a review right now...real life keeps getting in the way of finishing it.
The book is listed on Squadron and in stock...just search for "Kandahar".

I should be getting the new Tankograd titles in a couple of weeks. They arrived at Squadron too late to go on my current order. LAVIII TUA arrives Monday.

hhaha, yeah, it's the same, except for the armoured sight cover, the sensor mast, and missile tubes. Otherwise you are good to go.
