This is the tamiya m-3 its been on the parts shelf for a few years . I think i built this kit in 91?anyway i purchased the tamiya m-2-a2 and a bit of P E to dress it up .There were a few P E parts for this kit on the sheet , so this old kit ended up on the work bench along with the new m2-a2 bradley . I've been back dating it to a m2 a nothing a few things here and there and a MERDIC paint scheme and it should turn onto a pretty decent kit . any pointers are wecome , thanks

P. S. I was trying a mud /dust weathering idea on this m-3 so it looks kinda crappy

I think folks are having a difficult time seeing the changes made since it still has the old paint scheme on it. You might have gotten more response if the old paint was stripped off, or if the model was primed.

I'm no expert on the Bradley, but it looks like the TOW launcher is tilted back a little too far, but like I said, I'm no expert.

Toadster:

Since you are my favorite active tanker dude, I defer to your expertise and experience on this subject, (as I know your are living this stuff), and therefore appreciate your efforts at backdating this Tamiya kit to M2 standards.

As far as your comment above,--- hang in there. Personally I've noted a drop in views and comments on my RR stuff as of late, and I think its just because there is an awful lot of stuff to look at out there right now.

Lord Toadman (tm)

From where I see, it looked great. I admire your courage to rework on an old model. This baby is going to look good.

I think it's great to go back and rework old kits you built in your early days. Your work looks good, although I don't understand your idea of back dating an M3 into an M2. An M2 isn't an earlier version of an M3, they both were used at the same time just by different type of units.

Sorry Sabot...yet another typo on my part. I meant backdating it from a m3a1 to an original m3. Thanks for the comments.

The original Tamiya kit is already an M3. It has the same type of TOW loading hatch as the M2, M2A1, M2A2 and M2A3. OOB there is no way to make an M3A1, M3A2 or M3A3 since the TOW hatch and periscopes differ from the kit part.
