Hi guys,
I have started my Jagdpanther three weeks ago and I would like your comments on the work so far. This is my first tank that I am building in my life. Have a look at this address:
Jagdpanther.
So far only the basic painting is done. I still have to apply the clear glossy coat, the weathering, decals etc. Your comments and critiques would be highly appreciated.

Very nice. I like it. The overall contruction looks good and sound.
The tools and such that are silver/gray - to me in these photos - look to gray and not steal/silver enough. Could be the photo. Mikeli pointed out a good method of painting silver tools.
The tracks are well built and I love the color. The rust seems to be only on the outside though. Do you have plans to weather the inside?

Sebastian,
Constructon and paint look excellent. I can't see any major flaws anywhere.
I have to agree with the tool comments, basically all the steel colored add ons look too much like stainless steel. If you have a garage with tools, look at how they have an oxidized appearnce. Maybe not rusty red, but seriously toned down. My favorite base for that is ModelMaster burnt iron metalizer. It has just a hint of red and looks like well exposed metal. Also, for my taste, there's a little too much rust on the bottoms and the demarkation between the rusted and non rusted looks too sharp. Again, I use burnt iron for a base track color.

For you first tank its looks nice.
But there are some mistakes here, the toolracks are painted in the color of the vehicle, there is also a copper cable that you forgot? to paint, the fire thing???? is also painted yellow ( mostly) for the rest its already mentiond.
All with all nothing whorse here
