Hello all.
After my MCL5 and his Titan trailer here and my DML M4A2 french Sherman
here
I would like to show you my 155 mm gun Grande Puissance Fillioux Tousard.
This gun was built during the first WW. And then it was modified by the Tousard company and modernized. It was used in small numbers during the french battle in 1940 and then by the german army becaus this gun was very powerfull.
This is the 'grand father' of the 155 mm gun long -tom which was developped from study of the french model.
The model come from DES Kit. This a resin model not for beginners at 1/35 th scale.
Some pics ... sorry for the quality but my camera is out of date).
I hope you will enjoy it.

It came out very nice. Good job on weathering and painting it. Overall a great looking artillery piece.
It looks to be the same French gun as used on the M12 GMC.

Yes it is Gino . During WW1, the US Army was equipped with French M1917 GPF 155mm gun. Then a nearly identical US version called M1918 was built. It was the one used on the M12 (along with M1917 guns as well depending on availability).

This is the same gun HA. In fact the gun was modified and modernized in France and became the 155 mm GPF Touzard (ready for 40 km/h) for the second WW and the US gun was modified too but in another way and became the Long-Tom and then of course the M12.
