I've managed to finish the horse of my "Savoia Cavalleria" Lieutnant, and I'm starting with the figure. My camera is on holidays with my wife, so no pics for the time being... Gosh, this is my first attempt at a figure (120 mm) but to paint them is a hell of a hassle, far a lot worse than anything I've done to date!!!
Ciao

Done with my first entry, a SdKfz 222. :-)
Working on an 30 year old Itallari Panzer 38t. Planning OOB but will see as I go along depending on if I require new decals, tracks, etc. Figure this gives me a good model to start using an airbrush on #:-)

Primed both my 222 and 223 today. Will airbrush both tomorrow and hopefully have deacls on by sunday. Then a few evenings detail painting and some stowage. As this has to be finished before the 15th of sept. I will give these some priority now! When I posted the built kits on the 10th of august ...... I felt I had so much time to spare ...... just over two weeks left!!! Crikey!

I've finished a T26A and posted the pics 2 weeks ago.
Now, I'm still working on a BA6 and I hope to finish it in time...
What's funny is that the BA6 was my initial project and I only started the T26 to have fun with a little project...

You can post them here, or, if you want to get some last minute feedback and maybe tweak some things, post them in the Rivet Review forum.

Tying up the loose ends now. Just laid on the last of the groundwork. I still have to plant an acre of grass and then give both the model and the display the final weathering.

I have hit a standstill on my 35(t). I have just finished construction on the lower hull as well as finishing up the Friul tracks.

Question though: I notice on the campaign headline it states that the campaign is finished on September 21st. But in the text of the campaign below that it says that the campaign will finish on December 21st. Which is the right one?

Thanks,
Stuke

I think that the real Operation Barbarossa was Sep - Dec 1941... so that's the period we can model. The campaign, on the other hand, ends on 21 Sep.

Just about finished weathering my Field Kitchen. One horse is painted- need to detail- still to finish- the soldier and the other horse, plus groundwork.

US Open Tennis has taken up a majority of my time so far this past week- I was able to work on the weathering last night while there was a rain delay. So, I'll be working on my piece a little at a time over this next week.

Finally working with my digital camera- have to load up software and upload images.

Well..the 35 ain't gonna get done, too much detail to add. However, I do have a Sdkfz 222 that I know is a weekend build! :-)

I just realized that I have to do a repaint. I had pained my Panzerspahwagon in Panzer Dunkelgelb, only to discover that I should have painted it grey. The dunkelgelb wasn't in use until 1943. Doh!!!!!!

Well I used my new airbrush to paint the KV-2, just a few little parts and some weathering and I'll be done. Hoping to have the time to make up a basic diorama to set it on. Now just to figure out how to post the pictures I've taken.

Well - I got started late, so my Dragon StuG III A is causing me fits!!!!

I got the Friul tracks and the Aber pe - wow... Those freaks at Aber are masochists... Little did I know when i started that I would ACTUALLY be building a brass model... LOL They could've saved me the trouble and just included a couple of plastic bits.. then I woulnd't have needed the Dragon kit. Anyway - It is kinda fun in a wierd sory of way..

I think I'll be ready for paint next week - so she should be good to go.

This is sorta fun -
Jeff :-)

Well the interior of my 38 (t) is together as is the turret. I have to take some photos to post but I have had a family problem of late and little time (Mom broke her knee). I will have to push this weekend to take photos and close it all up for external painting. I hope to have time to use the frulis but I may have to use the kit tracks for the build and then replace them. I should finish on time minus the track issues.

Zvezda BT-5 assembled and painted. Just need to put on the tools, tracks, odd bits of stowage, and headlight lenses. I originally intended to put on a whitewash camo but I might not be able to finish in time if I attempt this. This will be weathered with pastels.

Well, I didn't get done. I took off from work this past Wed, Thurs and Friday to do a bit of yard work and finish my BT5. Unfortuately, Isabel came through and I didn't have any electricity from Thursday night utill Saturday afternoon around 4:00PM (1600). Have spent most of the time cleaning up the yard.
Oh well, better luck next time. I do hope that if any members were in the path of the hurricane, you didn't suffer too much damage to your homes.
