Hi All,
I have the Trumpy T-62 and the Bison Decals Afghan Tanks 2 decal set, and I want to model a Northern Alliance tank due to the great camo rather than standard Russian green.
A few questions:
1. What are my options for an aftermarket DSHK?
2. Are the bins on the front sides of some of the turrets Eastern European style tool bins? (seen on the decal painting guide) Not all the vehicle depicted have them. Are these available as AM?
3. What was the log actually used for?

Cheers

Jon

1. Fruil and Tank make replacement DShK's that are appropriate for tanks.

2. Not sure if you are talking about actual boxes or maybe the supplemental "Brow" armor some T-62's had. Do the boxes you are talking about look curved to conform to the front of the tank? Like this photo via Frenchy?

3. The log was a unditching beam, used to attach to the tank treads if the tank became stuck or high-center.

Thanks,
I've just ordered a DHSK from Tank and I will post pictures when I receive it.
