Modelpoint and SP Designs made their conversion for the TAMIYA kit, which is not the same scale as Trumpeter's, so they are not usable on the Trumpeter T-62. At least this one is designed for the Trumpeter kit.
So yeah if you're planning to use the Trumpeter kit, this one is better.
You may want to wait a bit as SP Designs has announced a new conversion to fit the Trumpeter kit, they might be cheaper.
Cheers,
Christophe

We shall see. I am not sure if Sergej will do one now that this one it out, and seems to be really good (I need to see one in person to confirm it, but the pics look good...how many times have we heard that...?)
Sergej IS releasing a "fixed" T-62 m62 turret and there are plans in process to make a T-62 m2005 conversion for the T-62 m72 kit.

Anyone knows if the Machine Burro set is already available to buy and where? Hobby Easy don't have it listed at the moment.

*NEWS UPDATE*
I got this conversion from Hobby Easy (my first shopping experience with them and it was great, fast shipping at a reasonable price - I chose small packet air registered-).
First impressions are excellent : very well cast, sharp details, all parts very carefuly protected in box, small PE fret included as well as a relatively large decal sheet with generic soviet numbers, stars and guards insignia. Also some brass wire for the long handles at the back of the turret.
Instructions are very good, you can use the conversion on a model 1962 or model 1972 T-62 from Trumpeter the only difference apart from the chassis being a tube on the deck behind the turret (snorkel?) for the variant based on the 1962 model.
Anyone knows of photos of those tanks with markings? The instructions don't give any decal placement advice and the only photos I know of are of museum vehicles.
Cheers,
Christophe

No information on markings? Or were all tanks left unmarked?
Thanks for your feedback!
