I have just finished painting my T-62, I bought the masterclub tracks for it and they went together rather well, now they snap when I come to put them on the tank, this doesnt help with the fact I have glued my fenders on.

So....I was wondering if there are any aftermarket vinyl tracks avaliable as I plan to superglue them in place.

Thanks in advance
Phil

Hi Phil, sorry to hear about your problems!

When I put together my masterclub tracks for my T-80 I left the fenders off to make it easier for painting and construction, but during my T-90 build I used Miniarm resin tracks and glued the fenders on first. I found the Miniarm tracks to be very similar to the masterclub in terms of construction and format (both resin, both "snap" together links). For the T-90 it was tricky but I got it to work in the end by holding the Hull at odd angles and just threading the tracks through.

One option is removing the pins on the link you intend to join together, so they clip together easily, and then just glue them in place with some super glue.

I'm building a T-62 myself soon, I just got the m1972 kit also, but I'll be using the metal Fruil T-72 tacks for this as I was able to pick some up this week when I was in Paris.

The Masterclub tracks are tricky but i'd persevere with them, they do look great and after all you have already spent the money on them. Seems a shame not to use them.

Thanks Jon, I was thinking that about using them and superglueing them in any needed spot, I alos thought about taking the links apart and glueing them on in stages, in that way I could get the top links in and correct then place the bottom ones in and glue the whole thing for safety, so I dont loose any.lol
