Gents,

One last question for the week, are you guys tinting your periscope glass green? I wasn't going to do the Commander's Peri, or the large one in front of the small arms bin, but the others I was going to lightly spray some clear green Tamiya paint on the glass.

Your thoughts?

Once this is decided on, I begin the overall painting process.

Brad, haven't had a chance to post it in my own thread on the topic so I'll put it here; what I ended up doing was going to Staples and buying a pack of the clear plastic index tabs like you atach tothe end of hanging folders. The pack i had had several colors,including a very nice clear green and clear blue. The advantage of using these over painting the clear platic supplied in the kit is the tabs are molded in clor,and are more tolerant to handling with scratching. Just use the kit parts as templates to cut and you're good to go.
