I muddled up the stripe a little bit. Not completely thrilled with the way it looks yet, but after a few washes and such, maybe it'll look a little better.

Added a little "can" up near the front. I'm going to add a few more of these as well. Just wanted to see what it looked like now.

Fixed the formation lights:

Better? What do y'all think?

Justin,

The stowage looks good and the rear marker lights look better.....

One more thing you might want to consider doing is the rear engine access hatch isn't defined very well, maybe you want to scribe deeper lines? For that matter, neither are the 2 round hatches. I re-scribed mine but not the round hatches.

Just a thought but at this stage maybe not a concern for you.

Lookin' Good!

Hey, Paul. Thanks for the comments. I agree that the hatch needs to be rescribed. I was hoping that a wash would make that pop out a bit, but it didn't. I'll probably rescribe that line before I start weathering the top.

A quick update: got the tracks and such on. Am experimenting with a few figures for placement. I'm still not sure exactly what my mini-diorama will show, but I know that it will be stopped and doing something. It will be on a cobblestone street, having recently come in from the country side, (hence the mud) I'm using a mixture of Tamiya and Miniart figures, topped with Hornet heads, some of which haven't arrived quite yet!

A few things left to do:

-Repairs need to be made, as I snapped off the lid on the zip box and a grab handle on the turret.
-Weather the entire top of the tank.
-Clean up the tracks a bit, including dealing with the ejector pin marks. Ugh. Should have done them before. Impatience!
-Add rope tie downs on the rear deck.
-Add on turret markings. Going to paint on numbers by hand. Wish me luck!

What else can you add? I can take it.... c'mon!

To avoid rescribing the tranny access plates, you can add a retangular air recognition tarp to that area......there are a few pictures of IS-2/ISU-152s in Berlin with this form of air rcognition.....ya, I know that's what the big white stripe is suppost to be for, but I had to mention it as I used it on a kit of mine when I attempted to "improve" the scribe lines...all I did was screw it up when I attempted ti deepen the grooves....thus the tarp.

Hey Greg-

I've thought about that-- believe me! I'm definitely not in the mood to rescribe a line in an area that's already "finished." LIke you, I'm not too hot at scribing.

We'll see what happens. For now I'm waiting on some weathering products to arrive so that I can continue.

More to come- thanks for the comment, my friend.
