Hello guys,
here are the pictures of my HB AAV with RAM/RS update.
The build lasts now for around 11 months with some offs and ons.
I had to buy AFV's tracks, as the HB ones are crap or my building skills are down to zero, I don't know.
It is almost complete, the only thing left off is the track on the right.
There is a wash on the upper part of the hull, the lower one gets maybe some more decals.
The decals you see are all from Echelon, the white numbers from their battalion number kit #4 and the other from their USMC M1A1 pt.4.
I tried to build an version of 3rd btn/ 1st Marines in the early stages of OIF in 2003, let's hope the markings are right
And finally, the pics:
Thanks for you comments
Cheers Alex

It looks like it is coming along well. I think it needs some more weathing though. You should really try to seal up the hull too. The joint between the upper and lower hull should not be noticable. It should look like a weld line and have no paint from the inside showing. Also, you missed some spots around the headlight clusters while painting. Good start, a few tweaks and it will be great.

Yeah I know Gino,
I just washed the upper part of the hull with MIG's dark wash and thats it.
The two parts of the hull aren't glued together yet
The head- and back lights will get painted when the hull is one part, which I think it is time for---NOW
So I'll post some pics when I've made further progress.
Cheers Alex

Very nice work, especially with the figures!
