I just saw this in the future releases on the miniman factory website. This will be an awesome kit along with their PTS-M. The SS23 looks pretty close to a finished master - I wonder how long it will be before it is available? I have their KraZ255B and it is truly stunning - the best resin casting I have seen. Hopefully the will do the PMP bridging ferry!!

Good news for russian armour fans

Yikes. I have to agree, they are BOTH subject I would love to have, but 199 Euro (before VAT) is a tad bit steep...

But they look great and Miniman factory has a excellent reputation. I may just forgo buying kits for a few months (try 6) and maybe pick one of them up. Hope the Euro falls soon!

WOWW wwiie! Thats gonna be one big pc of resin! Isnt the real thing like 40"+ long? That price is a tad steep (Especially for a forty-something full-time college student!) but what a great subject. IF they do a Tunguska I'll bite, or some BTRs BRDMs..... God I love the Soviet/Warsaw Pact(and ex) stuff.

As far as I know, it will have a closed section of the rocket (but it is possible that my friend who saw master for this kit is wrong). So, even if I don't like to discuss prices, a quarter of a thousand Euros is a little bit more than enough for closed coffin on wheels. But market will be the judge..

The KrAZ is great, and the PTS-M also really fills a nitche.

Has anyone seen a review of the KrAZ-255B anywhere?

TIA,
Andy

Hi Andy,

I only knew this german "/review" (OK, its more like a build log) But some nice pics of the real kit. I have it too and its worth every penny.

I'll back that up - I have the KRaZ. I've not built it yet, but dry fitting is excellent - the casting is outstanding and it looks relatively simple to construct (for a resin kit). Very impressive indeed.

Best regards

Ian
