Hello, I'm just back from my holidays !
These are the latest pics I took just before leaving my home. Ahter that, I added the latest details to the turret.
Now, all that's left to do is paint the beast !
This is the Revell TIGER H in 1/72nd scale.
I added Part PE. The detail these can add is incredible, and I'm far from having used it all.
To use more, you need to have good eyes, small fingers, and a lot of nerve.
Still, I'm very happy with the result !
Check the storage bin, it's open !
Please, feel free to tell me anything you like or don't !
I'll be painting this tiger green, for the desert battle. Anyone knows wha tamiya ref to use ?

Welcome back Penpen. I hope you enjoyed your holidays. Nice work so far. Not being an expert in WWII armour what I can notice from the last but one and last pic is the missing MG in the hull. If you are not installing it the hole in the housing shouldn't be visible? From the last pic it seems that there are left a bit of seams around the lower towing handles on the hull...

Looked awesome , PenPen. You give Braile scale new meaning to me here with the delicated PE work. I seen the same thing in Tristar shop for the tiger with the PE by a Japanese master model maker, I see if I can take some pics for ya.
Good work

Nice scale effects yu're geetting with the PE. Good denting on the fenders, too.
I, too, saw the slight flash on the tow hooks. What may be a bigger problem is that the tracks are in layed on in two different directions.
In the last picture you can see that the chevrons point this way / on left and this way / on the right.
I don't know if the tracks are directional, if not, you can get by the way they are. I will leave it to others to say if the tracks could be run either way.

Really nice Penpen. I admire anybody who builds these well, never mind PE as well. Al got it right, the tracks on the right side seem to be on the wrong way round. Too late to change this?
My only pointer is ... and Im not sure if Im right, is that the tow ropes look really thick. They look more suitable for 1/35 than this 1/72 scale. Maybe its just me!!
But nce work all the same ... will be stunning with a nice paint job. Might give this scale another try someday... very tempting!

Hye guys !
Thank you very much for your input, it's realy apreciated !
Sadly, it's now too late to replace the tracks.
The tow ropes are a bit thick but to be honnest I didn't have the courage to rework them in that scale. But seeing the effect, I think i'll probably rework them on my next model.
I'll clean the flash tonight !
The kit has been a lot of fun, but the PE was a lot of work. I think this WE I'll get myself some other 1/72nd kits... probably one to test zimmerit on !
What more have I got up my sleave ?
waiting for paint :
a 1/72nd scale M1...
a 1/35th borgward...
a 1/35th israely M50...
a 1/48th albatros...
in the building process :
a 1/35th BA6...
a 1/35th opel blitz...
some luftwafe 46 projects in 1/72nd scale...
