So this is my first model in over 20 yrs. Yes, there are some obvious mistakes. but overall it came out pretty nice. I am not happy with the pigments. I tried to go the dried mud route and it looked bad, so next time i won't do that.

It looks like you're off to a great start after 20 years. I'd be very pleased if my first one after that long looked as good.

Hi,
Overall it's pretty good. It may be the flash, but it appears a little shiny, perhaps a light coat of Dullcote or something similar, depending on your paint.
When you are applying the stars in the future, trim the carrier as close as possible, leaving less of a chance of it showing (r/front).
A lot of us would be happy if our stuff came that good at anytime. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! I think the shiny appearance is the lighting or camera. I will trim the decals next time. I used the microset but I can still see the edges of the decals. I used lots of the techniques from this forum and tried many of them on this model. It was sort of a test run....

Looks great. I'm working on the 105mm version right now as my 1st model in a decade and I really like what you did. The only thing I noticed was the stowage wasn't tied down.
Keep up the great work.
Jeff
