Interesting. Some sort of SPG built on the KV Chassis. It would have to be early war - looks like 2 76.2 mm guns in the casemate. It looks useless.......

My guess is that the extra gun is for in case the first shot missed , a second shot could quickly be corrected and fired without the time required for a reload. If the first shot hit , then the second shot would ensure the destruction of the target.

Paul is right. It's a KV-7 experimental SPG. Here are some extra pictures.
This one has three guns. (The better to shoot you with!)
Zebrano makes a 1/72 scale kit. (I am not affiliated with Zebrano or the website in the link.)

In other words .... if it were German then DML, HobbyBoss, Bronco and Trumpeter wouldn't be able to bang out 1/35 kits of both specimens fast enough, and it'd be "Landwasserschlepper Syndrome" all over again.
We'd be spolied for choice!

If only , Steve . The Tank Power vol. IX ( 289) KW I / II has a dozen or so blue print type photos pf proposed tank types . Some are multi turreted and some have a large ( 122 mm ? ) fixed casement in the hull and (76 / 85 mm ? ) gun in the turret . Very much of the land battle ship -1930s design, lenghtened hulls with 8 or 9 roadwheels .. But if they came out in plastic , I'd get one of each . Maybe photoshop some German markings , and we' ld get kits in no time

Thank you Alex.
Now I know the Germans had these concepts for these super massive tanks...
Did the Russians have similar ideas?
Would very much like to see some of these super massive tanks in plastic kit form. Especially the American T-95....but yeah,...if it aint German, what are the chances of seeing it.

The Casemate looks easy enough, but you'd need an Eastern Express KV-1S to build from.
If it had had an autoloader, I wouldn't have wanted to be in front of it....

Ah, this is actually the 'Heavy Tank' from the original Red Alert.
Not to be confused with its older brother the 'Mammoth'...
From my research, I believe both saw extensive service after Einstein traveled back in time and killed Hitler. Just kidding, but this would be an awesome subjust to build from. Might have to go pick up a KV kit and some plastic card. Anyone know a good place to purchase those 45mm's? (as I would like to try out that 3 gunned version).
Thanks,
Mike
