OK, here's my build for the current soft-skin campaign.
It's the S-Models URSUS A TKS TANK TRANSPORTER in 1/35th scale.
Typical S-Model resin, I find it easy to work with, and my example had practically no warping.
Included are a few vac-u-formed parts to contend with.
After the usual parts clean up, and test fitting, assembly began:
The cab is just sitting there, unglued at this point.
I replaced the round blobs on the kit to Tichy Train Parts lug nuts.
This is as of today:
Cab, radiator, and rear wheels are just placed in position.
So far it's been an enjoyable build, but a little challenging in places as the diagrams are printed about 1/3 smaller than 1/35th and most measurements for some parts placement need to be adjusted or just eyeballed.

Hi Dave. Beautiful build so far. It really looks the part. Have you sourced a tankette for the load yet?

Thanks Frank, yep, I have a few of the RPM kits laying about. I'll be building one for the "White Eagle" Campaign. I'm waiting for my Jadar order with the photo-etched set for it to arrive.

Even though I cut the hood (bonnet) out along it's lines, it turned out about 4mm too short. I added the needed length (about 2mm) on each end. I also opened up the side vents.

Nothing major done this week I'm afraid, got stuck working late, and double shifts, but managed to do a little this morning. Trying to line up the steering column, then will adjust the length after the rest of the steering linkage is aligned.

Plugging right along, I adjust the steering column length, add the steering linkage and managed to add the fenders somewhat straight, along with the headlights.

Terrific work Dave. Was the real thing an original Polish vehicle?

Pat
As far as I know Ursus A was a licensed Polish version of Italian SPA 25C Polonia with some changes to make it more suitable to Polish conditions.
The capacity was increased from 2t to 2,5t and Italian radiator was changed to Polish one.
Great work Dave keep it going

It seems a lot of the polish soft-skin vehicles were licensed built copies of Fiat vehicles with various modifications for the Polish Army needs.

Mostly yes. But there were some original Polish constructions like halftracks PZinz 222 and PZinz202. Mostly they have ended up as prototypes. About 12 of PZinz 222 from test-production series take part in war as a part 10th Armoured Cavalery Brigade.
