Hi all T-34 fans. This is my current build among two others. This kit has been stalled for over a year, mainly for a reason, that I did´t know where to cut those front fenders off. But now I have couple details, I´m uncertain what to do with them? So, now I need your help and feedback.
First, turret roof. There´s a thin cap between turret and turretroof parts. If this is a cast turret, should I fill it with putty?
Then engine deck louvers area. What colours to use for painting? Steel/aluminium for louvers? Surrounding area russian green?
Then the front. Fenders have been removed but I need your input for those areas inside red lines. Is there something missing? Areas inside red ellips look strange to me, specially from front of tank. Any ideas? Shoul I add weld seams all around front armor plate or just on top, where DML has added one already?
In last pic, that trouble area on hull side. Inside green ellips. It has triangle like cut inwards hull but I think, it should be straight with hull side, when you look at it from above and from aside?
Sorry for those long guestions. But I would like to get this kit finished finally... atleast before March, when the local scale model show is held.

I don't know enough about Russian armor to answer any of your questions, but I can say that the build looks fabulous so far.
It looks absolutely crisp and clean. Great job! Hopefully someone smarter than me can be of more help with your queries...

It´s always nice to see a T-34:-)
You´re building the No. 183 Factory built version.
Here you see the welded structure. So you need to fill the gap and maybe sand the edges a little bit down :
but let the bolted backplate free,it was removeable for gun service.
To answer your color question: go with the exterior green.

Very nice assembly. I believe that the louvers would be the same color as the hull and turret. It would decrease production capacity if the louvers were left as bare metal.

Thanks for your comments and pics, gents. Here´s a little update, how the future Beute T-34 looks today. Front has got the final look and all other parts are now attached to the hull. Next is painting, decals, weathering and Friul tracks. This project will now go to my cabinet, hopefully not for a long time, because next I have to finish my "Braille Battlefield" campaign build.
