Terrific job with those Leos Miloslav, congratulations. I'm waiting for the new upgrade for HB's kit. I can't handling too many PE!
I have a question about the HB Leopard upgrade: It's going to include a resin barrel? In the photos it looks like you are using a non-kit barrel.
Thanks a lot for sharing!

That are great news Miloslav. Great you are working on modern subjects!!!
I have another question, and it's about stoware accesories. Looking Canadian Leopards deployed in Afghanistan, I see that tanks have not very much ammount of stoware (backpacks, sleeping mats, rations, etc.) of even ammo boxes. Is that true or I have a wrong impression. I mean compared to "gipsy cargo methods" use in US Abrams at OIF, Canadian Leos travel very light.
Thanks a lot for your help!!

Adrian,
Menu and soda boxes included this set naturally. I also prepare Turret bins with another stowage( sleeping bags rucksack......) I like vehicles as gipsy wagon.

The tanks have had more and more equipment carried on them since deployment....they carry ration boxess, multiple cases of water (I've counted 15 cases of water on one tank), crew kit, coolers, ammumition boxes, and cots.....all stowed on top of in improvised bins between the turret rear and the turret slat sections. They aren't overflowing with kit like some of the Abrams but there is plenty of kit carried on the turret.

As Jason mentioned, troops like to fill the void between the turret and slat armour with "stuff". Usually they will attach some Hesco wire mesh along the bottom to act as a floor.

Nice update Miloslav!
Did you think about using the PE slat instead of the kit plastic ones? Just wondering as you put alot of effort and time to replace kit parts with resin, why not the slat?
looks really good though!
cheers

This is just a building with the HB update kit. I pužil for this model just set my forthcoming RM 35154.
For the first (Tamiya model) I can use Update set and PE Slat armor kit that will include RM 35149 .
Al for comparison, which is better an realistic.

Milo, looking forward to your update sets; one question: is the assembly of the PE slat armor going to be similar to the Eduard set, or do you have something different planned?

Both kits will include a new Slat armor.
RM 35149 will contain the classic Edward Slat armor, but partially redone.
RM 35150 will contain a reduced Slat Armor (field modification).

First update in the new year.
I added a new box for PE C8 and new ECM boxes.
All is the PE parts because model and other updates are no correct boxes.
Only the Storm Miniatures boxes OK.

Yes, I agree. Above all did two boxes. In fact, it's one box and two hoods.

Hi all Leo fans,
Also, Leopard build continues after a long break. The HB model I finished Slat Armor and all plastic and resin parts.
Will continue with PE parts and model will be ready for painting.
