Does anyone have names of 'C' squadron Shermans of SAR at the St. Lambert sur Dives action? I've exhausted all Google sources with useful results of detailed war reports and diaries, but nothing as detailed as names of individual tanks. They obviously should all begin with the letter C, 'Calgary' being a good guess for one - but just a guess! I'm planning a diorama based on the photos of Maj. Currie and inf. taking columns of Ger. POW's. Also, if possible, was C squad senior or junior and did they display the triangle, square, or circle turret symbol. I already checked 'Armoured Acorn' and none of the period Canadian Shermans illustrated display these markings. It would be really helpful if you also let me know which Shermans were 75mm and which were Fireflies.

Send me a PM and will help out. They did sport the circle for C Squadron and were named the tanks with "C's".
