Someone posted a link on ML to Modelpoint's website, which ive never come across before, and some of it seems to have been recently updated, also theres some new items showing in the catalogue such as a KMT-7 mine roller and T-72 'Relikt' armor. I wonder if this means they are operating again..?

As has been pointed out time and time again Modelpoint never quit. Modelpoint.US the U.S. distributor for Modelpoint is the one that went under. I guess it confuses some because the would use the same logo.

Tony, it did not help that when MP-USA went belly up, getting anything from MP short of going to Moscow was almost impossible. For all intents and purposes, they WERE out of business for those of us here in the USA.
Now, If they can get pics up on the website and people can order from them, I will be thrilled.

I realize that they never actually technically went out of business, but they might as well have done because all their items were impossible to find and even most of the Russian model shops didnt carry an up to date stock or receive any new items once they sold out.

Look here Modelpoint
The translation isnt really working but they seem to have most of the line. As mentioned in earlier posts they are releasing a KMT-7 rig and new Kontact armor for the T-72.
I too have lamented the absence of MP here in the states.......

Edit: busted link - sorry its magicmodels.ru
