Hi guys.
I've begun my planning for a post apocalypse dio and I will need a BTR 80.
I've heard many bad things about the zvezda kits, so who makes the best BTR 80 kit till date?

ALL BTR-80 kits are the same EXCEPT that Italeri/Revell/Zvezda's wheels are made from a different (better) material than Dragon's kits. Zvezda's BTR-80A has a new NICE turret, but everything else is the same as the BTR-80 kits it was made from.
Either grab what is cheapest and work from it, or wait however long it takes Trumpeter to come out with their kit.

Hi
MB Models have released one in resin and white metal years ago. Maybe you could find one on E-bay.
Here is mine with a SP Designs BTR-80A turret.
Good luck
Olivier

Yeah, I would wait if you can. The MB Models is probably a better starting point than the plastic kits, but they are long OOP and expensive, and not totally correct either. The Hobby Planet kit may be accurate, I have not seen it, but they are devilishly impossible to get a hold of.
Trumpeter?

But I saw drawings of a BTR from a new brand at the Nurnberg toy fair.
All they where saying was: "mabye end off year"
hopes it helps you guy`s sleep a bit better now..
