Is there any convenient kit of a BMP 1 or 2 engine available on the market? Gotta admit that I had just a little search on the net but couldn't find anything...

Yes, the only ones currently available for BMP1 and 2 are the AEF offerings. Both are a good base but don't represent a perfect rendition OOTB.

Mauro, you scratch-build it and make me a reasonable offer for one.

That not hard to make, with the info mauro gave us.
I couldt make one, but I think its more Rob Ferreira(scrathmod) to do it
And then produce it under his label.

Yeah.... I have too many kits on the work bench as is. I doubt I could free up enough space to even begin scratching this engine.

That's it Matt....and it's quite a pity. For a minute I thought to do it .But when i glanced at my stash and I saw:
three T55 ,a T62,a BA 64,a T 34-76, a SU 76M, aBA 10, a GAZ 69, an old Quad gun tractor.... I thought it was really enough

I have a UDT 20 engine set (for BMP 1, BMP 2, and OT90 M1) that I got in a trade. It is just the engine w/out the compartment. It is made by MBT from the Slovak republic (?). I had never seen nor heard of it or the company before. It is really nice w/14 nicely cast parts to make up the block, intake manifold, heads, valve covers, exhaust manifolds, turbo, etc. It is a really nice engine that looks just like the one above. Too bad it doesn't come with a compartment.

HA, I would be happy just to have the engine. The compartment I do have room to scratch-build. I can't find any info on MBT models. Just keep getting shoes.

I have no info on them either. I got it in a packade deal as part of a trade. I might be willing to sell it though, send me a PM with an offer if you are interested.

Hey Guys-
I have to jump in here. Rob's "label" is Scratchmod. Which encompasses his website, his models, and his style and techniques for creating gorgeous wrecks.
The cast resin T-55 engine compartment that Rob Mastered- was cast under my label. Celticwerks Casting Source.
Here:
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/news/8245
Rob wouldn't mind my pointing this out- If you contact him for resin parts he will forward the e-mail to me- and go right back to doing what he loves to do. Painting gorgeous wrecks!
Next on Rob's scratchbuilding schedule is a stripped engine compartment for Trumpeters T-62. When it is ready, I will be producing that too.
After that - who knows?? BMP engine compartment??
