Hello, I was going to build a T72 with the era, the Revell /DML kit, I have been looking everywhere for a decent build, and tweaks, and I mean someone who actually build it, I hate to stare at detail pics of the real ones ,not having measurements, I get confused, ...
All build I found are of non Era types, or builds with after market turrets,I want to scratch some details, but don't care if the turret is not 100 procent correct
Thanks
Tha Pit

So you are looking for a build that someone else has done all the hard work already? Maybe you can get someone on here to build one for you, would not want you to get confused. How do you expect to grow your skill set if you do not try things your self?

the armorama build of the chechen one, I already found and it's a good start
thanks!
@Mauro; mille grazie for the speedy respons and links/picture
are there any good spots in Milan for modelshopping, I'm visiting Italia this summer
@Tony; thanks for your supportive way of commenting,I've only been modeling for 23 years, I only spend an average of 4 hours a day modelling, so I guess your skills are way better then mine!
And lookuing at the 390 so posts you have here, you must be the perfect man to show me how to improve my skills!

You're welcome Tha
Unfortunately here in Milan there are few model shops and they are small and not well provided ..
anyway
In my opinion this is the best one:
http://www.hobby-landia.it/
here instead you can find another one which is specialized in miniatures
This one is the nearest to the city center
Another one, rather big (and probably the most provided), is this one :
http://www.misterkit.com/catalog/index.php
but is not exactly in Milan, is in a municipality located in south of the city
http://www.misterkit.com/catalog/raggiungerci.php
If I can, i'll give you soon a list of most important model shops in Italy
Cheers

Hmm,i wasnt in Milano yet, thats a destination to go,you are lucky to have any model shops there there are no specialized shops for modellers here .
Sorry for ot Pit.

You may be looking for a rare build. Those who start to try to improve the DML/Zvezda kits either give up and go to the Tamiya/after market route, scratchbuild their own kit, or just build it OOB.
The best place to see builds as you would like would probably be on some of the Russian build sites, (sorry I do not have any with me right now), but they often times use a fair amount of aftermarket parts in the end.
For the most part, a few things need to be thinner and the brackets the ERA is supposed to be on would need to be added (The real ERA is not just "stuck" on the real tank with glue or velcro!).

Be careful of T-80B drawings...most are incorrect for the rear turret shape and some have the T-80U with K-1/3 ERA that can be confusing...
