For those interested in the IS series, I've just added some updates to the site including:

Mini-reviews/tweaks lists of the currently available 1/35 scale kits

Lists of aftermarket items and short descriptions of each

I'll add the 'recipes' for the different variants and sub-variants, along with the braille scale information over the coming weeks.

If you know of anything that's missing, or any mistakes, please let me know.

Cheers,

Neil

Nicely done Neil. When does the book come out?

Also, when are you gonna do all the tweaks/changes needed to make the S-51 onthe KV-1S chassis?

Great stuff Neil. Your site is a great resource for everything KV already, so adding the IS series can only be a good thing. Its a great tool for modellers.

Hi guys, glad you're finding the site useful.

Jacques, the IS book is in progress. I've got a lot of good photos and research material from some helpful folks and the actual writing has commenced. Long way to go yet though, so don't expect to see the book for a year or two at least.

I wasn't planning to do the S-51, mostly because there are only a few surviving photos of the beast. To the best of my knowledge, nobody's been able find any plans yet, so anything I say about will be based mostly on guesswork and I try not to do that.

Cheers,

Neil

You're no fun Neil!

Those of us who want to do a 1/35 model will just have to wing it without your wonderful tweaks. Off to toil I guess...
