The Trumpeter site says it will be released by June! I'm glad we'll be getting it before the end of the year. I hope we get some pics of the model itself soon. GAOYUE hasn't posted anything in a long time!

Great news, thanks for posting this!
Yes, Egypt did use the BTR-50PK in '73 (and they continued to use them through the 1990s with some nice camouflage schemes.) They also had the OT-62, which is very similar, and in many photos it's hard to tell which is which.

As usual some exemplars were captured and modifiied by Israely force
South Lebanon Army converted the BTR 50 pk into a mediacal evacuation vehicle

The way Trumpeter was pumping kits out there for awhile I was expecting this much sooner especially once the PT-76 came out. I would be interested to know if they plan on doing a FROG also.
