Great vehicle Mike. What is itand who by ... is it resin? Very unusual and nice to see. Great finish and weathering.
How finished are you?? The exhaust could do with a little weathering. The one-shade rust colour looks alittle unrelaistic and lets down the excellent job with everything else you have done. Some variance with dark browns and oranges followed by a wash of black would really help this along. Another thing that stands out a little is the colour of the track wheels. Very polished aluminium looking, where a polished steel might look "heavier". Just little nit-picks that you may consider... and still could do if you fely also they might help!!

Mike, fine looking build. One thought: I have railroad tracks behind my house and the tops of the rails shine like a new penny. So do the surfaces of the train's wheels where they meet the tracks. You may want to paint the tops of the rails and the outside diameters on the wheels a nice steel color. EDIT It may but just the flash on the digital camera... My bad.

Great job on an interesting subject. Thanks for sharing.

The kit is the Shanghai Dragon Panzerspahwagen (Panhard 178). The flash washed out some of the detail, but the tracks and the wheels are very polished steel looking in natural light. I get your point about the exhaust, now that I look at it again. There is some subtle weathering where I drybrushed flat green over the entire model to represent the original French paint showing through... you can just make it out in the photo. I'll definately touch up the exhaust.
