Real Wrangler MT/R tires are specified as 37x12.50R16.5, so they are nominally 37 inch diameter. In 1/35 scale this is 26.85 mm, so theoretically DEF wheels at 27mm are closer to the correct size than 26mm ones. In reality tires are usually slightly smaller than their nominal size, but I think they would still be closer to 27 than to 26mm in scale.

Thanks for the comparison between the various wheel sets. I have the Academy and if their tread is nice, the sidewalls really lack the various markings.
