Jim, I hate the fact that you have one on hand and I have to save up my pennies to get it. Rats!
Show off lots of pictures of the kit, please.

Thank you for the pictures, that was quite a download , I may start tomorrow and will be posting pictures as I go. I have a picture sent to me by my friend that shows a groupe of cables but the rocket is not in place. But I have plenty to do till I get to that area. The cab is a small model kit on its own. more later

Jacques I am starting to agree with you, unless there was a bus that the missile rode on durning lift off. but this photo shows the misssile used as almost an artillery shot
with a nuke all you have to be is close, but the site that you directed me two does show a guidence system, and there are programing electronics in the cab. I will keep looking

Some elements of the "Oka" are still state/trade secrets, so you may not be able to answer your question soon. I am thinking there is a reusable data link with the missile, either wireless or friction, that is used to program the missile. It may also be programed by a hand portable unit as the missile has inertial guidance with active radar for the terminal phase. Far too many questions...
But from the pictures, some of which look like field firing trials, I would say there is no visible wiring bus.

At the bottom of Arpad's link is a video from Youtube. At the 2:49 time hack is the best shot yet of the missile before launch.

I have to say at this point that there are no cables connected to the rocket prior to launch, so until a picture shows up I am going on with the build, This was an interesting rocket, if I understand the translations I have read and in the move you can see a engine start up, small amount of brown smoke just prior to launch. This was to power ther rocket , so I am going to drop the subject and contuine with the build. Thank you all for the input and pictures they have been a great help.

Good choice and bet of luck. I wish I could be so decisive so soon...seems like I dither over detail questions forever...
