Dear friends,
I am new to cold war/ modern Soviet subjects.
I am contemplating buying either one of the kits (with trailer)
MAZ-537G Late Type
or
MAZ-537G early Type
http://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/data/33020.html
http://www.hobbyeasy.com/en/data/34020.html
a) What's the difference in these 2 kits, which has better fit and is more accurate? considering $4 difference here
b) Which tank can be loaded on the early and late kit?
Thanks

Fit is the same, trailer is the same.
Difference is the in the fenders. Not sure, but the "late" kit may have Trumpeter's updated wheels that appear to be better, but maybe not.
The only other change may be in the "bonnet" over the fuel tanks...not sure though.
Both vehicles were in service together, so it is possible to have a wide variety of vehicles on it. The tractor/trailer as modeled could carry up to 55T in cargo, although they could be overloaded

Maybe these pics would help :
MAZ-537G "Mid Production" (Trumpeter kit #00211):
MAZ-537G "Late Production"(Trumpeter kit#00212) :
The visible differences appear to be on the engine hood air intakes...

Thanks guys for the updates.
I just placed an order for the early/mid version from easy hobby today... ...a gift from myself for my birthday.
Cheers
