Amongst others I'm working on a Trumpeter IS-3M Kit, adding whatever detail I can come up with.
My question is does anybody know (or have photos) of whether the oil tank mounted on the mudguard as pitured below is plumbed into the tank, or is it only for external storage ?
And if it is plumbed in where do the lines run ?

Thanks for the info, that makes things a bit simpler
now all I need to do is make the spring clips for the towing hooks and I can glue the hull together....
then it's time to fight to get paint onto the 'special' silver rubber band tracks
