Please be kind this was my first attempt at 1/35 scale modelling.

I recently got the confidence to try my hand at weathering using MIG Pigments, sadly my photography and figure painting skills leave a lot to be desired!

Please be kind.

The top looks fine.Could you put it on a darker / plain background? Are you going to do more weathering on the track?

Yeah, I'll get round to both over the weekend!

I'll definitely get a better photo of it, I was just over excited that I actually managed to do something I felt was half decent!

I used Xtracrylic Russian Tank Green, and MIG Pigments Dark Mud.

Vallejo do a Russian Green too tho, that's apparently quite good.

The paint looks similar to the olive green I use for my Russian armor. Model Master is too blue. The weathering looks good. Figures are a whole different ballgame. I've just recently set myself to master that art. Dirty up the tracks and you'll have a respectable model. Nice for a first.

Naye bad Martin, naye bad at all !

Weathering looks pretty good- as others have said you need to apply some to the tracks and running gear- you might also consider adding some different colored pigments- dirt is not a single color and adding another color of pigments makes things look that bit better.

Super build for a 1st effort. I'm actually only one model ahead of you. The learning curve is pretty steep, but it's a fun journey, and each model will be better then the last one. The trick is not to just stay in your comfort zone.

I do agree that your model pictures will be much better for all concerned if you take them with a plain neutral background.
