had to do some minnor changes to the hull, and some cosmetics
this link provides some insight

this is my "version " of things
the engine
made something vaguely resembling the brakes
right side, with exhaust
the left side
some paint , to check for problems

That is some neat work... Love all the extra detail work you put into it so far. It's a pitty that Trump did not add those details from the start. In your hands it will come out a treat. Looking forward to the rest of your work on it. Especially as I'm working on the same vehicle from Vision models...
Wicked work mate... keep going.

Nice improvements Pit
I donŽt know yet if IŽll buy this kit. It seems quite interesting and nice but actually I have lots of unfinished projects to do
Anyway I really love your "cheaper" scratch works.
Cheers

I think that ALL my life wonŽt be enough to complete all my projects
but it doesnŽt matter
Are you doing a dio with your Russian sled?
It would be nice to depict it on the ice

thanks Mauro, I too have too many things to make before I shall pass
and yes, I'm thinkin' of a half lake (frozen off course;) ) and a side with a berch woodland snow kind a thing
thanks Grumpy, an honor for me that you take the time ,thanks man
everything still all right? still working ?
anyways, some white paint, and some kakicolor for the interior, already givin' it a thin wash with oils, and added some streaks from the fillercap (as seen in doc, and another model )
gonne do some minor chips, some more washes her and there, andd maybe some mapping with white, but I go with the flow, so I'll see when I'm at that point

That is really starting to look nice man. Nice white basecolor which gives you plenty of possibilites with weathering. Also like the radiatorfluid that has been spilled out of the radiator. Did you use black for it or something else like smoke?
Looking forward to your diorama. I have a similar setup in the works. currently for 60% finished. Got any plans yet for the ice?
Looking forward to the rest of the project.. you are doing really well.

Thanks Robert, hope to see you on a meet soon
I did the streaks with oil coalblack, and sme acrylic, mat black paint, and some fine tipped brush, eyeballed it
did some more oilpaint chipping the metalparts, and acrylic chips of beige and kakibrown on the wooden parts
I might not have mentioned, but I made the seats smaller in with, and added some cushioning off putty
Pics!

Oil streaking is great and the rest of the weathering looks spot on.
