Hello.
here's my latest finished models...two tiny little tanks, they were awsome to build, everything looks great od them, maybe the tracks could be 0.5-1 mm longer but it's ok.
They are build straight OOB (they have PE parts) and only thing I made on them were the antenas.
Pics:
C&C are welcome.
Cheers.

Stjepan,
I've been working on my own little Initial Tigers, too. Your dual display diorama is quite neat and well done. Your finished Tigers look really nice. Did you make the headlights for the s. Pz. Abt. 502 "103"?
I've modified mine a little bit, well a little more than just a little.
I'm now attempting to paint/repaint and then final assembly.

Thx for the coments and sorry on late response...
@ Jeff
I didn't make headlights, they were in the kit, I just glue them.
@ Vladimir
For ivy I use some old and dry roots (picked in garden from some shrubbery), white glue, some leaves from Noch (I don't know what exactly becouse friend give it to me and I didn't see the packing) and a hair-spray.
It's easy to made...take root and "paint" it whit white glue, then you take that root and "dip" into leaves. Leave aprox. 15-20 min and let the glue strengthen, take the hair-spray and spray it al over to get more strenght.
Anyway, easy, quick and good looking ivy in no more than 30-45 minutes.
Cheers.

Excellent level of detail to the minis. Seems to be up to Dragon's level of quality. The turret numbers are impressive. I've tried my hand a three 1/35 and never managed to finish one. Looks like I may go to 1/144 just so I can add to my collection. The dio is very nice. The fence must have been fun to build.

Stjepan,
My kit didn't come with headlights to glue on. Where were your headlights in the white plastic tray?
The other Tiger kit had the headlights molded to the front glacis plate, which I used to make a squash mold.
If you would confirm my kit was missing the headlights, I think I'll contact DragonCare.

Well, it wasn't so difficult, first try was a disaster, but after i found the way how to make it simple, I just make longer "fence" and in the section that is "under the gorund" i have put some other wood to hold the fence, after all I'we just put some white glue to hold on everything.

@ Jeff
I've looked in the box and instructions, but in my kit the headlights have come. This may be becouse I've bought different "box", I have "box" for Tigers No. "100" & "142" but I've made "103" & "241" becouse to make "100" I will have to move right tool box on the dome. So it may be that parts in your "box" are ok. Try to contact Dragon to see if the headlight come in your kit or not.
Cheers.

Could you explain this sentence? I don't understand what you said, and I don't know what WW2 photos you are looking at.

Well I've read somewhere that the Tiger tank No. "100" didn't have, or it was fallen, right tool box so making that Tiger tank required some scratchbuild but I didn't have inspiration for that.
Cheers.

Tiger "100" had two turret bins, just as shown in the kit.
Then it lost one bin in action and got captured by the Russians.
They took several photos. You can see the attachments where the bin used to be.

Well actually I didn't do much of a research...i know that 501st was first in Africa but after beeing defeated in Africa the 501st get relocated to eastern front, soo i did 501st on eastern front...and yes the turret number isn't likely to be correct but it may be becouse there (as far as I know) aren't 100% secure informations that "241" has been lost in action in Africa.
As for the "100", actually I didn't like the number 100 on the tool box so i put on number "103" just to break down "monotone"...
But after all what matter is that we make models, correct or not, it is just important that we have fun and that we are satisfied. No hard feelings to anyone.
Cheers.

The Germans got only one Tiger out of Africa, numbered "222".
